The International Day of the Girl Child reminds us of the importance of training and educating girls so that they can acquire the necessary skills to help them thrive and reach their potential. Alongside other interventions, this powers them to be self-reliant, be able to navigate and adjust to a changing world. It is imperative that we all come together to contribute to girl-child empowerment.
